To Our United States Military

"Your training has prepared you, your honor will guide you.
You believe in America, and America believes in you."

President George W. Bush
State of the Union Address, January 28, 2003

Located at Brown and Wabash

One location in Terre Haute, Indiana has been the site of a Pre-Civil War Fairgrounds; Civil War Barracks for Union soldiers; World-famous four-cornered horse-racing track; 1920’s era professional baseball complex, second only to Yankee Stadium in playing area, and a university Football complex.

The site at Wabash and Brown Avenue on the east side of Terre Haute is a truly unique space.

A one-mile trail in the shape of Indiana surrounds the site, It is lined with each variety of the 101 native trees of Indiana, donated by Trees Inc. There is a unique sculpture provided by Artscapes Inc. at the corner of the site. The Vigo County Veterans Memorial Park has added the memorial bricks around the walks around and leading up to the Memorial Arch, and looks to future additions of many more memorials to our veterans.
